Rotary is the oldest Service Club in the world. We turned 100 in 2005. Rotary has always had the motto "Service above Self." That motto sums up not only Rotary International, but what each Rotarian believes--make the world and community around us a better place through service.

The Fredericton Sunrise Rotary Club was started in 1992. Our club focus has been youth. We have been a supporter of Partners for Youth since its inception, and have contributed to many projects around the world and greater Fredericton area.

We have international exchange programs for high school students, and hosted students from around the world, and sent students from here to places like New Zealand, Belgium, etc.. This is a one year exchange program.

How we fund our projects: 

• Rotary TV Bingo. TV Bingo players have won more than $1.5 million in prize money. Our club has donated over $750,000 to the community.

• The annual “Fill’er Up” Campaign has raised over $100,000 for the local food banks.
